Climate Change
Yes I believe in climate change. Their is honestly so much scientific evidence that it is real, I really don't know how you wouldn't believe it? I found a very good site, that seems to be unbiased it's called http://www.skepticalscience.com/. I like this site because it tells you what a skeptic of global warming would ask. Then they use cited sources, and studies to answer the question or to prove the skeptic right or wrong. Like a lot of people will say that the sun is heating up, so the temperature of the sun would be directly related to to the temperature of earth. But what science is saying is when you look at past events when the sun temperature goes down the temperature of the earth doesn't go down. You can look at this site to see the evidence.

Zombie Apocalypse
I think it would really depend on how the situation was. Like if the zombies could run fast, think, if i had time to get stuff and prepare. But lets say the zombies were kind of fast, couldn't think, and I had to to get stuff prepared. I would make our house a fortress with my family, and a select few. I would cover all of the windows with a wood on the outside and steel on the inside. I would upgrade all of the locks in the house, and fortifie all the doors too. I then would go to a store to get water filters, lots of water, 7.62x54r bullets lots and lots of those. Other things I feel like I would need. Lots of canned food and dry food and freeze dried goods to. Fill all of our cars up with gas. After that I would just hunker down and get even more ready for the invasion.

House
If money was not a issue to buy a house. I would create my own house. It would have a private beach but also have a private backyard. It would be close to the city, but also far away from people so I could do private things. It would have 2 floors, and a really nice basement. The basement would be very big, and would have a fridge, counter just lots of things. But the basement would be more of a work place. My kitchen would be really nice. I don't I would just have a nice house I don't have a huge preference. I would really have to think about it. But I would like it to maybe be solar?

Stanford Study
The stanford study was done in the summer of 1991. In the basment of stanford they converted 4 or 5 rooms into prsion cells. Then took about 20 collage students, all emotional stable and healthy. They then chose half of them to be guards, and the other half prisoners. All of the prisoners were gave numbers instead of names. All of the guards got a nice uniform, billy club and a pair of mirrord sunglasses. The guards could not hurt the prisoners, but they could cause fear and distress in them. All the the prisoners got actuly arrested and then were brought to the fake jail. Then stripped down and gave a humiliating clothes to were. The prisoners thought they were being treatd wrong. So some barracated them selves in there cells, and ripped there numbers off. The guards retaliated by shooting a fire exstighusher to get them out. That did not work, and the prisoner got pissed. The guards then strpped the prissoner naked, and thru him in the hole. At this time some of the prisoners and freaking out. After that the prisoners start to obey more. But the guards just keep getting nasty and more abusive. After the 5th day 2 people had to leave. For a emotional break downs. Then the whole study had to be shut down on the 6th day. Becasue the the whole thing was really getting out of hand. The gaurds started to get really abusive. If they didn't feel like they had "power". Some say the whole experiment was tooken way to far.
How a radar detector works?
A radar detector or "fuzz buster" is a device you put in your car to detect speed traps by cops. Or to detect if a cop is tracking your speed. A radar system emits electromagnetic waves towards an object, the waves are then bounced off the object back to the receiving device. It then measures the frequency of the wave. This method can be used to detect an objects speed, direction and range. A radar detector works the same as a radio receiver. The radio receiver just picks up AM or FM frequencies. Same with a radar detector, but instead of AM or FM frequencies, it detects the cops speed gun. When it detects the cops electromagnetic wave it gives of some kind of beep or warning. Then as the signal of the radar gets stronger, the beep will get faster.

Political cartoon
This represents the tension that Russia and the USA had during the cold war. This picture is kinda true, if you think about it... because that is what we were doing during the cold war, which really is not practical. Who really is going to win if you have 1,000s of nuclear bombs pointed at each other? If one side shoots a nuke, the other side is gonna shoot their nuke. Then, after that, there is going to be lots of radioactive gas from the explosions. This then goes into the atmosphere, and goes every where around the world. So nuclear bombs are really not the answer for anything.

Curiosity Mars rover
The Curiosity rover was launched seven weeks ago in mars, to see if mars was ever compatible for life. It has already shown evidence of running water on Mars in the past. Scientists on the mission team say the size and rounded shape of the
pebbles in the rock indicate they had been transported and eroded in
water.(picture above) I find this interesting because we are exploring a planet we really do not know that much about, with a robot over thousands and thousands of miles away. I am sure they are going to find lots and lots of cool stuff there. They are planning on going to a massive crater, that will show all the different levels of soil and rock, from the past millions of years. They are going to then test that with all of there toys on the rover to find out if life ever had life. This whole project is being funded for two years. But the rover is powered by a nuclear battery that can last for five years. So this experiment will last a while.
- (A) Curiosity will trundle around its landing site looking for interesting rock features to study. Its top speed is about 4cm/s
- (B) This mission has 17 cameras. They will identify particular targets, and a laser will zap those rocks to probe their chemistry
- (C) If the signal is significant, Curiosity will swing over instruments on its arm for close-up investigation. These include a microscope
- (D) Samples drilled from rock, or scooped from the soil, can be delivered to two hi-tech analysis labs inside the rover body
- (E) The results are sent to Earth through antennas on the rover deck. Return commands tell the rover where it should drive next

Favorite team
I don't really have a favorite team because I don't really watch sports to much. But If I have to think about it I would choose Real Madrid it is a soccer club in Spain. I really have not watched them too much but I always liked Robinho because he was # 10 and he had some good foot work. Real Madrid is a soccer club that all the professionals play after or before the world cup. Its still really serious though. There will be riots if one team looses. Soccer is just so much more of a big deal in other country's. If you compare it to football in America. The people that fallow Real Madrid or like Manchester United, that is there life and they will pretty much die for them. Here is a video of Robinho skills, he is very good in my opinion. He can handle the ball with great precession. He kinda reminds me of Pele....

What car I would get?
If my parents would buy me any car I would get a Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. I like this car because it looks cool and its good on gas. I don't really car if it can go fast or not. I do care if it has good acceleration though. It has lots of trunk space, which is good if I wanna go on a road trip. So as you can see with only 129 in torque it can't accelerate that fast. But I don't car it gets really good gas mileage, and gas is going to be sooo expensive. It gets 41 mpg in the city and 31 on the highway. Ummm I don't know if I want this car anymore. O well this is fake anyway.

Where I would go??? Jamaica
I would go to Jamaica. Just because it would be cool to see some real Rastafarians ,and go to some places were Bob Marley lived. Many people think that Jamaica is a friendly chill place. But if you go there, and you look like a tourist and you go into some of the actual bad places there or a place thats not part of the resort. Then you are going to get robbed. I've talked to people that went there, and they will walk around with there pockets inside out, so no one robs them. I'm not saying all of Jamaica is like this , just I'd be careful. They do live in poverty their. Now other then that they have beautiful beaches, girls ,rasta culture. It is a really fun place, and I would really like to go. Even though weed is illegal there it is around every were. But surprisingly I here that its not very good. I would love to go on their beaches and see there crystal clean water. Its a little island full of positive vibrations. Oh and their language is honestly like my favorite sound ever. They mix in American, French and there own Rasta tung. I think it sounds really cool. So I just think it would be a good experience.

Compare Phones
The two phones I will be comparing today are the Photon 4G and the Iphone 4G. I have the Photon right now, and I had the Iphone 4G. So I have some experience with them. First the negative, the Photon touch screen is not very good compared to the Iphone. The Iphone has a great feel and is extremely responsive. The Photon even though you can download different touch screen sensors, it is still no match for the Iphone touch screen. The photon is a lower quality phone for materials, its like plastic and it feels like a toy. The Iphone is just a solid piece of a equipment. Its made out of metal and a very strong glass. But the Photon is much more of a free market. I can literally download free music, from a app I downloaded from the Droid market for free. You can also change really anything about it, and customize it to your specifications. So you really can make it your own phone. Compared to the Iphone they are like nazis when it come to changing anything on it. You only can download music from the apple store; you can't watch videos on the internet because it won't let you download flash player. So unless you jailbreak your Iphone your phone is going to be restricted. So I would choose the Photon just because it is more of a free phone. I wish they made a Photon and a Iphone morphed together.... the Iphoton
Here is a link to a unbiased look comparing the Iphone vs Photon

What pet I would get?
I have a lot of animals... But for my first pet that I would buy on my own. I would buy or adopt a Wolf hybrid German Shepherd puppy. The reason I would get a puppy, other then cause they look so cool. Is because then I would pretty much raise him, and teach him things. We would have a really good relationship, and he would be very noble. Then when he is older he would really trust me. I like German Shepherd Wolf hybrids, because they don't trust most people when they first see them. So you gotta work your way up to even pet them. Wolf hybrids just look sick too, and they are really smart and wise. They do shed though... which is a flaw, but I don't mind.
What he would need?
- Food
- Water
- Leash
- Colar
- Walks
- Toys
- Bed
- I.D.
- Vet Shots
- Treats

What to buy with $150
For my $150 shopping spree I would blow the whole $150 on a set of JBL P662. This is the best speaker you can get before investing in a component speaker. JBL defines quality in the sound system world mostly with their speakers ,and amplifiers. JBL will offer a really clean, smooth, and clear music. It also offers a really deep bass instead of just having a loud bass. I would have got component speakers... but my amp I have (1200 watt BOSS) to power my 4 car speakers cant handle a set of component speakers. I would have to spend much more money to do that... maybe in the future. I would need to get a higher quality amp other then a BOSS. Which is really a low quality, and can't handle good quality speakers like these. I would need like a alpine or a kicker or JBL.......

Light Art
I recently learned about light art. It is really interesting and cool to me. How it works is you would have a camera and on that camera you would set the drag to a low setting I think. So what that does is instead of taking a picture in a half a second it takes a picture in like two seconds. So if there is movement it captures it. Its kinda like a video camera but its just a picture that captures a few seconds. I have never done it. But I understand how it works, and I've seen people do it. Its weird to think about though. Like if you have a laser pointer and you move that around the room really fast it will look like a solid line. Which I don't understand, but it makes sense. Maybe its because the light takes time to get back to ur eyes so it just appears its a solid line. But I do not know. It looks cool though, and I can't explain it right now.
Favorite thing about summer
My favorite thing I did this summer was.... well I didn't do any thing to crazy this summer I long boarded a lot and got way better. But like I had a fun summer but I really didn't do anything to memorable. O I did go camping and had fun doing that and played with some glow sticks:) But Idk this was just a real chill summer.

I like this song because I can't really figure it out. In his lyrics he talks about good things and bad things, which makes me think that the deeper message of the song is that everything he talks about revolves around life and reality, and that life and reality have good things and bad things. Or it could mean like all the temptation in life, but he also talks about the police and the government. So really I now think that this song is about everything, and anything. But he is really good at connected everything and makes it sound smooth, and it flows perfectly. The rhythm is good to.

City of Theives
In class we are reading this book and I find it to be a interesting book so far... Even though we literally only read the first page. So I really do not know to much about it. But we did talk about was the beautiful grammar used in the first page. At first I was thinking that grammar was a set thing, and that there was a right way and a wrong way. But now I learned that if you learned the basics of grammar. You can really turn it into a art, and make it "beautiful". But I really don't know how to make it Beautiful yet. Anyways back to the book. I am interested in this because I feel like it is going to be a good story that is actually entertaining. I did read the back of the book and it said it was a bout a man that has to save his life by stealing a dozen eggs. For a wedding cake. Usually this would be easy, but this is in the time of the Nazis so it is really really hard to steal a egg because there is no eggs to steal.

About blogging
Yea I would say I would like the idea of blogging. You talk about whats on your mind and some topics you would like to know more about. I would like to do blogging for credit if you actually get a reasonable amount of hours. Its kinda cool to do cause you really can do it about what ever and I like that. A main theme I would like to blog about is what I'm interested in or something I would like to know more about. I learned how to post pictures and put links to videos. I'm sure I could set up a blog for a business but I don't see the reason for it. Why would a business need to blog? I guess if they all live far away and they needed to communicate thru the blog but I feel like Skype or more of a real time thing would work better.

longboards
I've been longboarding for a while now. Its kinda like snowboarding but your allot more griped to the road. Its pretty fun but you gotta learn to slide because that is the best method for stopping and going around tight corners. Right now I have a Loaded Dervish I got it for $50 which is a booomb deal since they sell at like $200
So that's a pretty good deal I am happy with it so far I haven't got any speed wobbles. Its a really nice deck. The wheels I have are pretty bad though they are really choppy when you try to slide. This is a sick video of some good londboarding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHIObEZcW38
This is another good one that's actually in real speed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mhfq2FPKKm4

What to do in the winter in MN???????
You can do all sorts of stuff in the winter even though summers a little better. You can go winter camping which is so much different then normal camping. All your water might freeze so you really gotta plan your stuff. Another fun thing to do if the roads a slick is to go drifting, it takes a lot of practice but you get the hang of it. Just chillin and going on some nature hikes. Ummmmmmm if its really cold out though you might have to go inside to warm up and have some hot chocolate or something. You could go snow boarding or skiing but that's pretty expensive if you think about it, unless you get a season pass for like $300. But I'm not gonna pay that just so I can go down some hills. Id rather just wait till spring an go longboarding for free although you do have to pay for gas to go up hills or you can just get some exercise and hike up there your self.
Exercise
I would agree that kids should exercise every day just for a health thing and for brain development. Especially for kids with ADD or ADHD because taking all those synthetic unnatural chemicals every day some times more then once a day can not be healthy. It makes you dependent on a synthetic drug. But I guess you could compare it to caffeine. Everyday millions of people start their day with a cup of coffee or some type of stimulant. But that is a natural chemical but whose to say if theirs any difference between a synthetic chemical like Adderal or caffeine a natural chemical. My opinion is ingesting anything that is not natural on a daily basis cannot be good for you. Even a natural chemical that doesn't really have a good a use in your body is bad like fat. Sure its not bad if you just eat a little bit but once in a while you start eating it excessively you start getting fat and that increases all sorts of diseases. You would need to do allot of exercise for your body to combat the effects of all that fat. Also just to bring marijuana in the picture. All the negative effects it has on your brain, which is that it reduces your flexibility in your brain and your short term memory and your cognitive health. It does not kill your brain cells it protects them. All of the effects are completely reversible. So with those negative effects on your brain you would have to do brain exercises to combat the effects it has on your brain. You could do some exercises on luminosity.com or any other thing that will exercise your brain. If you do that then you pretty much get all the good benefits of marijuana. Which is higher blood flow, more of a open mind, plenty of anti-cancer properties (if you smoke cigarettes that works against all the good anti-cancer properties it has). But you can't compare cannabis with fat because the cannabiniods in cannabis work on your endocannabinoid system. It helps clean your body, its like vitamins. It consists of CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors these are found literally every were on your body. Your body already makes its own cannabinoids. There was a drug that some smart researches made, it would block the CB1 receptors in your body thinking that since cannabis works on those receptors that blocking those would make them not hungry. Because as you know you get the munchies from marijuana. But when they did this people got severely depressed and killed them self. So we need cannabis and its cannabindiods to function healthy. Fat, sugar and other toxins that your body really doesn't need, will screw up the endocannabiniod system and that can lead to it not doing its job which is to clean the body.

what's the difference between gas?
Gas is measured by octane rating which is the rate it burns. So the longer it takes for the gas to burn the higher the octane rating. If your car requires a 87 octane and you were to put a higher grade in it your cars computer would notice the slower burn time and would adjust to that burn time. So buying higher grade fuel is not better. Because your computer will adjust and it will be the same as if you were to put regular gas in. Also buying the mid-grade gas is a horrible deal I guess to because their just mixing 2 parts regular and 1 part premium. You would save more money if you were to put 5 gallons premium and 10 gallons regular. There is the ethanol option now that is more clean burning then gas but it burns allot faster then gas and there is not nearly as much energy as compared to gas. So you would be burning more ethanol then gas, even though its cheaper your using it faster so not the best buy.

ALC
The ALC is the best school I have been to and I've been to a few. I like the ALC because you really can do anything your interested in. The teachers are so cool and chill. There not like the Stillwater High school were their so stingy, strike and just not nice. The last school I went to was Rivers edge academy it was kinda like ALC, it was a really small charter school in St.Paul it had like 50 kids 9-12 grade. The teachers were really chill there but it was a 6 hour day and you really didn't have a choice of what you wanted to learn. They did teach you cool and helpful stuff but I didn't really like it there and it was like a 20-30 minute drive. I really enjoy that I can learn chemistry and do little chemistry experiments for hours at the ALC. It makes learning enjoyable and fun. I guess I'm pushing myself to learn chemistry but I'm really doing it because I enjoy learning it. I never used to really want to learn, I just wanted to coast by. But over the years I thought about life and had some epiphanies and decided that in this life I live I would rather learn something that I like and enjoy, then do something with that knowledge after all knowledge is power.

Comparing Cell Phones
Iphone Vs Not smart phone
The I have a Iphone it is a very good smart phone you literally can do just about anything on it. Lets say I'm driving to go to a new place and I took a wrong turn and now I'm lost, what so ever could I do OOOOOh I know I'll pull out my handy dandy Iphone and BOOM I know were I'm going :). I guess any other smart phone could do that but if I just had a normal phone I'd have to pull over ask for directions from some stranger were to go. It's a whole lot easier to have a G.P.S on your phone.
